Elisha-Rio Apilado
Striving to discover creative, altruistic ways to create meaningful, visual art in the philanthropic realm, Elisha has dedicated herself to “PhilARThropy,” a passion project advocating philanthropy in the artist community. Elisha is also the owner and creative director of Appleavocado, a small design firm, and is a self-described type enthusiast and avid doodler.
Nolan Borkenhagen
An artist his whole life, Nolan is a multi-disciplinary designer who began his career at the Art Institutes International Minnesota. Nolan also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, and currently works at RPM Visual Media in Chicago.
Vincent DeSantiago
Chicago native Vincent Desantiago has been a student of art and design most of his life, with a degree in graphic design from Columbia College Chicago. A lover of typography and all-things design, Vincent is an avid fan of everything strange and invigorating. On any given day, you can find Vincent riding his motorcycle throughout the streets of beautiful Chi-town.
Lura Meisch
Chicago-based graphic designer Lura Meisch specializes in custom typography, layout, illustration and editing. She has a self-professed obsession with sketching letters, great package design and food. Lura also loves biking, robots, octopus and other underwater creatures.
Lukas Ostrander
Originally from a small town in West Michigan, Lukas lives and works in Chicago, creating print and digital designs for brands as a Junior Art Director. He has a degree in Graphic Design from the Illinois Institute of Art – Chicago, and in his spare time, Lukas can be found searching the city for good food, music, action figures and beer.
Walter Ruyeras
Originally raised in the Philippine culture and exposed to deep-themed heavy-story cartoons from Disney to Japanese Anime, Walter developed a great passion for character design and animation. A graduate from Chicago’s Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy with a degree in Applied Sciences in Videogame Art, Walter is a visual storyteller, specializing in 2D character design and hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation.
